The Blizzard of 78 Featuring Mikey Dread, Silicone On Sapphire:
Mikey Dread taught The Clash how to play reggae in the late 70’s and now he’s done it again with The Blizzard Of 78. This tune was born when The Blizzard Of 78 were asked to record a cover song by The Clash for a Sandinista tribute record called The Sandinista Project. Mikey Dread came on board to collaborate with The Blizzard and he wrote a whole new set of lyrics, sang the lead vocals, and added an effects track to the mix. Mikey played an integral part on the original Sandinista triple album producing, writing, and singing on 5 tracks. A seamless combination of rock and reggae is the result when 5 parts Boston and one part Jamaica were mixed up to create this irresistible track that leaves you wanting to just press play again. Recorded at Appleman/Killing Floor Studio

The Shods, Stop Crying:
Stop Crying is an exhilarating ride. The crushing combination of surging drums, gloriously bombastic harmonies, timeless production and firebrand frontman Kevin Stevenson's grimy tales of life on the fringe make this a Boston punk classic. Originally recorded for the Fort Apache/MCA label in 1997 by Tim O'heir (Super Drag, Sebadoh, The All American Rejects).

The Shods, Bamboozled:
Prime, grade-A, catchy rock 'n' roll ala The Clash, The Jam & Elvis Costello. Their second (official) full-length and they really showcase their own distinct sound while assimilating the most noble of influences. Larger than life melodies & riffs that should be blasting out of the hi-fi's at all the coolest parties. Bamboozled was voted best indie record in the 1998 Boston Phoenix Best Music Poll. Recorded while the band was stuck in a contract dispute by Chris Cugini at Appleman Studio (now Killing Floor)
